In August, Phuket roared to carlife as it hosted the Toyota Gazoo Racing Thailand tour — the year's most electrifying automotive event. 🏁 At Saphan Hin Park, the scene was like something straight out of a gearhead’s dream. Organizers commandeered the main road and turned it into a race circuit.
The day was pure, unfiltered power.
Guardrails lined the edges, ready to keep the chaos in check, while safety crews stood by, waiting for the green light. The tension? Palpable.
The One -Make Race is the ultimate test of driver skill
No excuses, no advantages, just pure, head-to-head racing in identical machines.
It’s where the car takes a back seat and the driver’s precision, nerve, and raw talent shine through. This weekend’s showdown featured separate races for the Yaris, Corolla, and Hilux. With identical setups, the difference between victory and defeat came down to split-second decisions, perfect braking points, and the ability to outthink the competition. Just pure racing.
And the crown jewel of the show?
None other than the legendary Toyota Supra, one of the finest Toyotas ever made. We spotted around five different Supras that day.
But the Supra wasn’t the only star—there was also the impressive GT86, a car that has earned its own place in the hearts of driving enthusiasts for its balance, agility, and pure driving pleasure. So, here’s the big question: would you go with Supra or GT86?
The GR Performance Show was as an absolute knockout!
The Yaris GR, Corolla GR, GT86 GR, and Supra GR dtearing through the track with precision and power that left jaws on the floor. Just when we thought it couldn’t get better, the car jumps and drift show blew everyone away. A Hilux and even a Corolla drifting with such finesse—it was pure magic.
